i want a postman's counterpart for mobile developers

you know how postman is a good way to decouple testing backend apis? ie it removes the dependence on the mobile apps to validate that the backend apis are behaving as expected and avoiding the whodoneit scenario.

postman counterpart

my question: how can i do the same to mobile? i know unit tests is the obvious answer, but unit tests can be expensive, i'm simply looking for a light weight framework that mocks api json responses, and having the mobile app respond to it? So this this is a mirror scenario of backend using postman but for mobile.. ideas?
