Azure App Service Pricing

As someone who does not fully understand the pricing of the Azure Apps Service plan, i figured i'd give superuser a go.

I am currently working on several apps, and each of these are being supported by an API, and a webservice. Currently i have one App Service running on one App service plan. My product owner does not want to spend a lot of money on hosting, yet he insists that we use Azure.

So my question is, can i deploy multiple App services under the same App Service plan for the same price? Considering i am using the Basic App Service Plan, can i have two App services under this plan, for the same price, or will i have to pay for both individually?

The pricing seems pretty high to me if that i the case.
