How to add resolution to screen?

I have the HP 350 G2 laptop which is certified for ubuntu

I found at the specificiation that VGA and HDMI both support 1080p, 1920 x 1080px resolution.

I have a BenQ BL2706HT 27 inch monitor (LED, 1920 X 1080 Pixel).

When I use my HDMI cable I can use 1920 x 1080px resolution.

When I use the VGA cable, the max resolution that I can configure is 1024x768

Since it is stated in the specification that VGA supports graphic resolution with 1920 x 1080px, I would like to add this resolution by hand.

With the command xrandr I found

How can I add the resolution to the monitor? Thats what I tried, but it didn't work:
