I have some troubles with my Linux and I hope you can help me figure out why it doesn't work.

I have installed Linux Ubuntu 18.04 on laptop (double boot with Windows 10) with 2 graphic cards - first from Intel and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050Ti as second - and from the beginning this second makes problems. I fought I solved them when I installed the Nvidia driver for this card (which wasn't as easy as I thought) but now there is another thing again.

At first - Nvidia X server doesn't work - I click on it, nothing happens, I figure out that it might not work in Wayland mode, which I use, so I restarted computer and logged on in normal mode (I don't know how to name it, I have just two options Ubuntu and Ubuntu in Wayland) and I saw only black screen and mouse on it.

I bought monitor with bigger screen than I have - I want to use it as a second, and when I plug it in it doesn't works and as far as I know I need this program.
