FFmpeg suddenly crashing during encodes using libx265 (on Win 10, cmd)

The problem started as soon as I changed my CPU, but there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the CPU as it's stable even with hours on load (stress tested).

The system/OS doesn't crash itself, it's just ffmpeg/cmd that crashes. cmd.exe closes as well as ffmpeg in the middle of an encode, resulting in playable but truncated file. (ex duration is 1hr, but the resulting vid is 20mins)

Code wise, it's very basic and I've been doing this for quite awhile without any issues. Only recent change was the CPU upgrade.

Any suggestions to fix this problem?
